The Light Storm LS C300X Bi-color Kit from Aputure includes a Bi-Color LED lamp with V-mount and Bowens (S) accessory coupling. This makes the lamp compatible with various optical lens modifiers.

Combining the latest optical color mixing technology with Aputure's bi-color LED chipset, the LS 300X can leverage the Fresnel 2X and Spotlight Mount to give you unprecedented flexibility from a single fixture.

Simple and flexible operation
With a simple turn of a knob or push of a button, you can adjust the CCT output of the LS C300X with white light and adjust the color temperature between 2700K and 6500K in just a few seconds. And with the same rugged lamp head and control box design as the 300D II, the C300X is built to take on any movie-making challenge.

Improved light output
With the Fresnel 2X, the LS 300X can produce over 56000 lux at 1 meter away, creating stunningly bright light, with CCT control always at your fingertips. By using lens modifiers such as the Fresnel 2X or the Spotlight Mount, in addition to soft light modifiers such as the Light Dome II, you achieve extreme lighting precision for any shooting environment. Spot, flood, cut or diffuse the light without worrying about unwanted artifacts while keeping the white point under control.

Flexible bi-color range
The LS 300X is the first of many Aputure lamps to utilize the extensive vari-white CCT range of 2700-6500K, which goes beyond traditional bi-color lamps. This produces light that is warmer than fixtures with incandescent bulbs and cooler than conventional daylight (D55). Flexibility with your white light is the key to reacting quickly to the set, so with the extended bi-color range, you'll have to carry fewer gels. Whatever your ideal effect, the C300X will help you create light that perfectly matches the atmosphere.

Reliable color reproduction
Regardless of which light source you use, color fidelity is always essential, so like all Aputure lamps, the 300X has reliable color rendering properties. With CRI and TLCI scores of over 96, a tungsten SSI score of up to 85 and a D55 SSI score of up to 74, the C300X always gives you premium, accurate color reproduction.

Rugged design
The Aputure Light Storm LS C300X LED lamp and control box have the same slim design as that of the 300D II. The C300X uses a fully 360 degree adjustable handbrake locking yoke. It also matches the 300D II with a completely silent, passively cooled all-in-one control box, which integrates the power supply and control system into a single unit.

Fast and accurate CCT operation
The main difference between the 2 control boxes is that the 300X now uses a new CCT control wheel, in addition to the intensity wheel. With the C300X CCT dial you can fine-tune your CCT in +/- 50K increments. But with the Preset button in the center of the wheel, you can also switch between 5 common CCT presets (2700K, 3200K, 4300K, 5500K, 6500K) for quick access.

Dual output modes
The LS C300X even has 2 output modes: Maximum power and Constant power. In Constant Power mode, you can accurately change your CCT while maintaining a consistent lighting level. Combined with a new smoother dimmer system, you even get the option to seamlessly shift the color temperature in the middle of a scene. However, in Maximum Power mode, the C300X will always maximize the output power for your CCT and dimming level, with the high output range being 4000K.

Creative food options
Like the 300D II, the 300X can also be used with a single battery, up to half maximum power, or with 2 batteries for full power. So no matter how many batteries you have, your scene will always shine. The 300X's control box also accurately displays the real-time expected remaining battery life, so you will never be faced with surprises. Because the LED lamp works on batteries, the C300X gives you more freedom in lighting, so that you can take creative images anytime, anywhere. The use of 14.4V batteries that support 15A continuous discharge is recommended to provide the lamp with enough power when used at full power.

Multiple control options
In addition to the control buttons, the Light Storm C300X can be controlled with the 2.4G RF Remote, DMX512 from Aputure and with the Bluetooth Mesh Sidus Link app. With the extra range you get by having multiple Sidus Link lamps active, you can control the settings of all your lamps from almost anywhere. And with professional DMX512 compatibility, the 300X provides multi-channel control, so you can fine-tune your lighting configuration.

Built-in Effects
The Aputure Light Storm LS C300X is equipped with 9 built-in light effects, such as Paparazzi, Fireworks, Lightning, Broken Lamp, TV, Pulsating, Strobe, Explosion and Fire. And all with adjustable color temperatures, opening new possibilities for precise light control on your film sets. With future firmware updates, the capabilities of the C300X will continue to grow.

Bowens-mount modularity
The C300X is compatible with the Bowen-S mount. This gives you a wide range of light shapers, making it a unique bi-color fixture. The Bowens mount offers flexible options to change the quality of your light source in seconds.

The Sidus Link ecosystem
With the integration of the Sidus Mesh chipset, the C300X gives you professional lighting control from a single app. This mesh technology extends across the entire future Aputure product line, creating an ecosystem you can rely on. With the Sidus Link Mesh Network it is possible to control up to 100 luminaires from your smartphone or tablet, with each lamp increasing the range of the network.
