The Manfrotto XPRO500 from Manfrotto is a 4-part aluminum monopod with Fluid Video Head. It is the successor to the MVM500A.

The Manfrotto MVMXPRO500 XPRO Aluminum Video Monopod is a professional monopod equipped with a tripod mount with liquid cartridge in the base. With this monopod you can make smooth and vibration-free tilt and pan movements, ideal for video recordings. For example, the monopod allows you to raise your camera above a crowd and capture beautiful shots from different angles.

The MVMXPRO500 has a FluidTech system foot that consists of a base with ball head, a fluid coupling and three adjustable legs. You make beautiful smooth images from many angles. The three folding legs keep the monopod compact and ensure that you can still easily take the monopod with you wherever you go. The legs provide extra stability. The monopod has a maximum height of no less than 203 cm and when you fold it completely, it measures only 78 cm. Nevertheless, the monopod has a maximum Safety Payload of 8 kg. With this, Manfrotto guarantees safe use up to 8 kg. The Max Payload (the maximum carrying weight) can be higher.

The D-shaped aluminum tubes of this monopod improve the anti-rotation resistance when you make fast movements. In combination with the Quick Power Lock, jerky movements are prevented. The combination of the fluid video head and fluid coupling tripod mount makes this monopod the perfect kit for demanding videographers.
